Familiendialog.NRW for foster families

Together with Family Minister Josefine Paul, the participants exchanged their personal experiences and wishes in intensive discussion rounds:

• Designing child-friendly contact
• Shaping transitions in foster care relationships and securing prospects
• Collaboration with the youth welfare office and family court from the perspective of foster parents
• Foster families in everyday education - experiences with school and daycare

The results of the family dialog will be incorporated into the North Rhine-Westphalia Family Report 2026.

The Familiendialog.NRW for foster families was organized in partnership with the Verband der Pflege- und Adoptivfamilien NRW e. V.. The association is a supportive community for adoptive and foster families in North Rhine-Westphalia.
